I am asked from time-to-time why call my business “Minor Solutions?” Or, “shouldn’t it be something such as “Major Solutions?”
Other than the obvious play on my last name, the reason I chose “Minor Solutions” is because it relates directly to one of my core beliefs: many major problems, calamities, or predicaments are often the result of seemingly small or insignificant items that were not properly addressed or were not addressed at all. For example, failure to have routine maintenance done on your heating and cooling system resulting the system not working at a critical time or, perhaps worse, resulting having to replace the unit long before the end of its expected useful life.
So, while I agree with the expression, made popular by a book of the same title, “don’t sweat the little stuff,” I do believe that it is important to pay attention to details and address issues as they arise, no matter how large or how small, in a timely manner. If we follow this principle as we work together, I believe that we will have a better chance of avoiding issues that are often frustrating or could slow the selling or purchasing of your home.
